As the end of October nears, Modo Yoga's 30-Day Challenge wraps up soon, too. Each May and October, Modo holds a 30-Day Challenge where you push yourself to practice asana each day, with the money from the challenge participants being donated to charity.
If you haven't practiced at Modo Yoga before, it's like none other. It's a challenging asana practice in a heated room, but, just as with a complete yoga practice, there's so much more to Modo than just the asana. They pride themselves on their 7 Pillars (Be Healthy, Be Accessible, Live Green, Sangha Support, Reach Out, Live to Learn, and Be Peace), and I have to say the Sangha is one of the main reasons I keep coming back to Modo. The outstanding community support there is vital to my yoga practice and to my peace of mind. I really enjoy connecting with other teachers and students, and everyone is so warm and welcoming!
If you haven't yet had the chance to practice at Modo and would like to, I'd be happy to share a free week pass with you (and also a $40 intro month pass)! I also encourage you, whether or not you practice at Modo, to come out to the Modo Yoga Cincinnati 4-Year Anniversary Party on Saturday, November 8! It will be a great time and a great opportunity to meet the teachers, students, owners, and see what Modo is all about.
